On September 13th, the "Reverend" Jerry Falwell made the following statement in reference to the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
It was during an appearance on the 700 Club, a Christian television program:
| "The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked... I really believe that the Pagans and the abortionists and the feminists and the gays and lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle ... all of them who have tried to secularize America - I point the finger in their face and say, 'You helped this happen.'" - Jerry Falwell

How dare you, Mr. Falwell.
How dare you?
And you have the audacity to call your self a Christian?
You claim to know Christ?
Christ, who feed the hungry and healed the leper?
Christ, who - in your own claimed beliefs - said, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone..." (John 8:7)
Are you without sin Mr. Falwell?
I say NO!
You have lifted yourself up, and placed yourself as judge before God.
Lucifer placed himself before God as well.
Mr. Falwell, recall once more, if you will, the words of your savior, Jesus Christ;
"Ye judge after the flesh, I judge no man." (John 8:15)
Fanaticism comes in many guises.
