appy Yule! I know, it was actually yesterday, but I had to say it.
y entire family is here for the holidays. That makes sixteen people, counting Abby and I. We went over to my parent's house last night, and it was a zoo! With eleven adults, a seven-year-old, a two-year-old, twin toddlers and an infant, well... cacophony is an understatement. It was fun though. I am so blessed to have a family that gets along as well as we do. First and foremost, we are all friends. After seeing the way that Abby's family interacts (no offence, love), I am unspeakably grateful for my own family.
ow, we're off to see Fellowship of the Ring again. We're taking my brothers Jeff and Shane, their wives Heather and Alysia, my sister Katie and brother-in-law Daniel (Stacey's husband). I am looking forward to discussing the movie with Jeff, as he is also an avid fan of J.R.R. Tolkien.
ecause my family is here, updates to this column may be sporadic, at best, for the next week.
appy ule, erry hristmas, appy hanukah! Whatever your faith, be kind and generous to all you meet, and show love for all this season and always!
