i despise these random bouts of depression. they can be triggered by the slightest, insignificant thing. several people have told me that i care too much, and my sensitivity and capacity for empathy leave me vulnerable. i cannot argue with this. often, i find myself riding an emotional roller coaster, rising and falling on a track that is determined more by events that happen around me and the emotions of others, than by my own volition. by the end of the day, my emotional reserves are often exhausted, leaving me open to the smallest slight. i suppose it could be chemical, but that answer doesn't satisfy me. it seems like too much of a cop-out.
on a lighter note, i finally updated the
Sabrina Levels. if you're wondering, i was lead programmer on that game...
