Well, it's been a couple of weeks since I last wrote anything here. I suppose I should add at least one more entry before the month is out. Here's what's been going on:
My project at work is moving along as expected. I finished writing the new physics routines yesterday, and there aren't too many more "in game" elements to address (except perhaps, getting the poly-count down). The user interface and game-progression screens are in shambles though. That aspect of game programming isn't nearly as much fun to work on. I can't help feeling like I'm missing something...
I have come to terms with the fact that I'm a sex addict. That's okay. I'm not doing anything "risky" and I only have one sex partner. I feel sorry for Abby though... no one should be expected to have as much sex as I seem to need. I know that sex is a major method of escapism for me, but hell... anything to keep my serotonin levels up!
Which segues nicely into my next tidbit: my new CD, entitled "serotonin" is due out next month. It'll be available at http://www.ampcast.com/bluestarfolly, and eventually at amazon.com. It's my first commercial release! I'm not hoping to make any money from it, just gain some exposure for my band, Blue Star Folly.
A word to the wise: avoid skunks. I had an encounter with two this morning while walking to work. I grabbed my camera (which is always in my backpack) and started shooting... until, that is... I realized that one of the skunks had disappeared, and the other was headed straight toward me, pausing only to make aggressive stamping motions with its front paws. Needless to say, I made a strategic retreat at that point.
Other minor points of interest:
- We might go snowboarding in two weeks.
- I'm throwing a Wrestlemania party.
- The scar tissue on my knees looks just as bad today as it did a year ago.
- I'm getting into candle making.
- My laptop battery SUCKS!
- My parents moved to Utah this week.
- My 18-year-old cat, Socks, passed away this week. May he rest in peace. He was a good friend.
- My hair is, once again, black with blue highlights and roots.
Until next time,
|
