After completing The Known Soldier (a composite photáge of American soldiers killed in Iraq), I began wonder about the faces of those responsible for war. Initial, I contemplated compositing the Bush administration but reconsidered due to the relatively small number of photos it would involve. Instead, I have made the 108th United States Congress the object of my study. This is the body that collectively voted to authorize the use of force (aka - WAR) in Iraq; thus they bear more than a little responsibility in the matter. And so, along side the 992 dead of The Known Soldier, I give you the 100 Senators and 435 voting Representatives of the U.S. Congress. Feel free to draw your own conclusions.
