Composite Messiah

Before the advent of the written word, the concept of god was a collective one, summoned from the communal psyche to satisfy a need for meaning
and order required by the tool-making minds of our not-quite-ape forbearers. Eventually, they began to record their god(s), removing much of
the community's participation in act of god creation and limiting religion's ability to adapt with society. Thus god has evolved in fits and
spurts, out of phase with the very beings that created it.
The Photáge above was created from 103 images of the Christian son of god.
Included in the sampling were paintings, drawings and photographs of actors playing Jesus.
He doesn't look much like a middle-eastern Jew to me... but as Abby pointed out: a lot can change in two thousand years.
