Amen. Lennox sucks. Try being put on hold forever, and being trnasfered several times before getting proper help. Try paying up front for a $350 part with $100 in shipping fees (and shipping is NOT included on the warantee.) Hindsight: I would have said forget the warantee and bought a brand new unit--one that lasts the typical 12-15 years, unlike this one which didn't even make 33 months!

I ditto everything that was said here. Decent, hardworking, paying customers shouldn't have to wait two weeks during the hottest season to get their air conditioner fixed.

G24M series furnace igniter control board is worth $200 with a one year warranty. My board has been replaced twice. Parts of the cb are made in China. I bet it costs them Lennox about a dollar. No wonder that fucker Dave or whatever his name is, is smilling. Years ago furnaces lasted for years, and there is no reason this new technology can't last for years. But there is no profit in that. So we buy cheap shit from China, lose jobs here, keep a Chinaman employed for 25 cents a day and Lennox makes 1000% profit.
Sounds like freedom 35 to me!

In fact, it is now cold, and I just paid a repairman $100 to come to the house and tell me that it is the board, but he does not have one. (Armstrong/Lennox Ultra SX90) OK, another couple of cold days, and a few hundred bucks more, and I won't freeze-THIS IS CLEVELAND. I found the bad solder on the board, and I just need to get a schematic so I know what that little hoodad is. Then I can solder in a new one. If those Chinese knew how to solder, this would not have happened. OH Yeah. My last furnace was 47 years old, ran like a champ, and I "upgraded" when I added on to the house. Big mistake.

I'm never buying from them again. We bought a brand new home, and 13 months later our AC breaks. Turns out the tubing had no space and had spent the last year rubbing against the drier filter. $650 repair bill. Will Lennox reimburse us? No. Apparently it's not their fault, even though the unit is BARELY A YEAR OLD.
