As a former resident of "Zion" (i.e. Utah), this doesn't particularly surprise me, but I figured the rest of you should know about this one...
Saturday night, Utah county police sent in the SWAT team to shut down a 1500 person rave on the grounds that it was illegal.
The promoter claims to have all of the proper permits, plus a $2 million insurance policy and security.
The police used a helicopter, dogs and tear gas to clear out the fans, there are several accusations of brutality.
Pretty normal stuff for Utah.
